When Brian White left to Pika Capital Markets a few weeks back, he took his Apple Barometer

with him.

Not hard to do.

The Apple Barometer isn't an actual thing.

Rather, it's a list of companies he's put together to try to figure out how things are going at Apple between earnings reports.

With his virtual finger in the metaphorical wind,

the Cantor Fitzgerald analyst has checked his apple barometer readings

for November, and he likes what he sees.

Barons had the analyst issuing a note to clients late last week saying this November was the

strongest in the barometer's history.

Quoting his note, given the combination of a record October performance in our expectation of

record growth in November, our Apple Barometer is on track

to report stronger than average seasonality in the fourth quarter of 2013.

If we assume an average month-over-month sales decline of 10% in December,

we estimate our apple barometer will grow sales by 28% quarter over quarter in the fourth quarter of 2013 or more than double the average

increase of 13% over the past eight years. In our view he continues the
