Hey, remember last week when the China Consumer Association said to Apple hey look Apple, hey, look into this battery thing.

Because Chinese consumers toting iPhone 6

and iPhone 6 ass were complaining that their iPhones would just

kind of die even with a decent charge.

And I said, hey, weird, that's been happening to my iPhone six for months.

Anyone else?

Then over 40 of you wrote to me to say, funny, I thought it was just me because, yeah yeah it had been happening to you too.

It looks like Apple will take care of some of us.

Mashable ran a story early this morning saying that Apple is now offering to replace batteries for the iPhone 6S

if users find that their devices are abruptly shutting down.

According to the company's statement on the issue, Apple has determined that a very small number of iPhone 6S devices may unexpectedly shut down.

This is not a safety issue and only affects devices within a limited serial number range that were manufactured

between September and October of 2015.

Apparently the rest of us are just imagining it.
