Availability of Macbook Prose with touchbar has opened up quickly.

9-5 Mac says the machines, which only started order fulfillment this week, are showing up as available for in-store pickup on Apple's site.

Of course they're not all everywhere all at once.

In general says the piece the base 1799 touchbar model is available for same day pickup and a decent number of markets

though the 1999 model is slightly harder to find for same day pickup.

Those are prices and availability for the 13 inch models. The report says the

entry level 2399 15 inch MacBook Pro is a bit harder to find for same day pickup

while the 2999 model is harder still.

Still, if you want or need the new machine today, it's worth checking.

My local Apple location shows in-store pickup availability today for both of the 13-inch touchbar machines,

as well as the top-of-the-line 15-inch model.

Not to light a fire, but this in-store availability may be short-lived.
