A once and future Apple analyst has some thoughts on Friday's iPhone launch.

Writing for the Loop Ventures blog, avid Apple watcher Gene Munster said the way he sees it things look better for iPhone 10-S-Max than they have for any other

plus-sized iPhone not that there were more people there were not.

When he buzzed New York City's Fifth Avenue store, Mr Munster found

406 people in line for iPhone 10S and 10S Max.

That is way up from the 293 people that were in line last year for iPhone 8, but way

For his part, Munster says he expected the shorter lines for two reasons.
