A myriad of media moves for Apple this week.

We'll start with Apple Music, where 9-to-5 Max says the Cupertino Company has picked a Cherry

deal with Warner.

Deciding a report from Bloomberg, the piece says the deal will see Apple Pay Warner a smaller percentage of sales from Apple Music subscribers than its original deal did.

Why would Warner be willing to take a smaller cut?

The piece says it's willing to do so because Apple has no free tier with which to deal.

So it's good news for Warner music and good news for Apple, though some people in the equation may not see it as

good news, specifically the musicians who make the music over which the companies

are dealing. The way 9 to 5 sees it Apple could face backlash from artists for paying less per stream under this new deal,

especially if the same cut extends to deals with other record companies.

An Apple deal with a record company isn't a total surprise.

Apple music has been a thing for over two years now.

New deals were bound to happen at some point.

The weirdest media move this week may involve The Spy Who Loves? The

spy who loved me. The Mac Observer highlights a piece from the Hollywood reporter that says the

rights to James Bond are up for grabs and Apple appears to be grabbing. To be clear
