Maco-Sken Big news for Apple and can.

Big news for Apple and India to end the week.

First, that country's economic time says iPhone 6S and iPhone 7 units made in India are now being exported to European markets.

Contract manufacturer Wistron is said to be cranking those out.

The way the report sees it, the move to use India as an export hub

would bear well for both the country and Apple. While it would cement India's

position as an attractive destination for foreign investment for not just domestic market but also

exports, Apple would benefit by fulfilling requirements for other markets from outside China, its

largest base for contract manufacturing for iPhones.

Of course, China has been a dicey proposition of late, thanks to the heating and cooling

and heating trade war between the country and the US.

The Economic Times reminds readers of recent reports that had Apple asking suppliers such

as Wistron, Fox Khan, and Pegatron to see about moving 15%

to 30% of their Apple production out of China thanks to the simmering trade war.
