You know what I like about Wells Fargo analyst Maynard Umm?

He takes his time.

Last week after the Worldwide Developers Conference keynote, a number of analysts rushed to their computers and zipped off notes to

investors within 24 hours. What's the rush? It'll be there. The Mac

observer has Mr. Maynard issuing his responding note this week.

Quoting his note, the availability of iOS 7 in the fall

reinforces our expectation for an iPhone launch in September.

And here just about everybody else thought that same thing.

He's also got an interesting level of faith in iTunes Radio.

Quoting his note again, the addition of new services such as iTunes Radio in our opinion

will help user acquisition and retention rather than serve as a standalone business model.

He knows it's a lot like Pandora, right?
