Last year, Apple and ExxonMobil spent a good bit of the summer battling for first as the most profitable company in the world.

And we've pretty much been done with that for a while now. It's Apple.

Business Insider says Apple is on track to generate between 45 and 50 billion dollars of profit this year.

And while they don't say how much they expect ExxonMobil to generate, they do point out that the
