RBC Capital Analy to meet Darienani is into Apple's latest phone.

Despite its low cost and lower than usual gross profit margin,

Barron says the analyst saying he thinks the device

can make money for the Kubertsino company. Gross profit margin on the phone

is nothing like Lowe. Quoting his note, we estimate that 16 gigabyte iPhone SE's total build of materials cost is about $260,

roughly 22% cheaper than iPhone 6S despite using similar components. We believe the

build-in materials cost reduction came from price renegotiations as Apple suppliers

built excess inventory for iPhone 6S. This is evidenced by the date codes

and application processor tracing back to manufacture dates in August and

September of 2015. With a retail price of $379, our analysis suggests 16-Giby

iPhone SE gross margin is roughly 35%, much lower than the estimated

mid-40% gross margins for iPhone 5S and 6S.
