In fairness, the UBS analyst was only doing his job.

9-5 Mac had Mr. M issuing a note earlier this week

spinning three future tales of Apple, one full of storms, one full of blue skies,

and one where Apple's future is so bright it would be required by law to wear shades.

That last one is the one where the analyst says what it would take for Apple stock to hit $200. According to his note, for Apple to hit $200,

iPhone needs to continue to grow beyond financial year 2018.

New product categories must be established,

and buybacks should exceed $50 billion per year.

What new categories?

Apple's got a couple of years to establish those in his estimation.

Quoting his note again, first comes the super cycle later this year,

as a redesigned iPhone spurs a bunch of user upgrades,

then it shifts to a sustainable growth phase
