Apple Senior VP of Worldwide Marketing, Phil Schiller did something yesterday that I'm not sure I like.

It does of course not matter what I like, but since it's just you and me talking I don't mind telling you I don't think I

like what Phil Schiller did yesterday. The SVP talked to both Bloomberg and the

Wall Street Journal about what a big bowl of suck the Android experience is

for smartphones.

According to what he told the journal, Apple's own research shows that four times as many

iPhone users switched from an Android phone than to an Android phone in the fourth quarter of

2012.

The piece has Schiller pointing out that Android users were often running old operating systems

and that there's a tremendous amount of fragmentation in the Android world.

And he said, Android is often given as a free replacement for a feature phone

and the experience isn't as good as an iPhone. Why does Android suck so much in his opinion?
