Good news. We are not starting off with Apple versus the FBI.

We are starting with Apple's shareholders meeting held last Friday,

where Apple addressed its ongoing fight with the FBI.

However, Business Insider says that wasn't as big a topic as might have been expected.

Apple CEO Tim Cook was quoted to saying Apple is a staunch advocate for our customers privacy and

personal safety. We do this because this is the right thing to do. Being hard doesn't

scare us. I'm incredibly proud to be working for this company at this time with the most unbelievable people in the world.

While he did invite shareholders to ask questions about the stance, business insiders says not one shareholder did.

Not that everyone in attendance agrees with Apple's stance.

The Mac Observer had one shareholder attendee telling the Los Angeles Times, I do think they

should unlock it. For something as serious as as this there should be a way to do it

But that was outside to a reporter not during the meeting itself

According to Business Insider, the only other mention of the standoff during the meeting was when a representative from the Electronic Frontier Foundation made a statement saying the EFF will be filing a friend of the court brief this week standing with Apple.

The rest of the meeting sounds like a potlock.

Lots of people brought different things.

The Reverend Jesse Jackson was there, he said by Business Insider, to have urged Apple toward a more diverse workforce.

One shareholder wanted to know how Apple views India.
