If you can figure out what's going on with Apple these days, one suspects you are not actually

figuring out anything.

One suspects instead that you are a time traveler. Come back to breathe cleaner air than the world will have in the future,

to walk the streets without fear of killer robots arresting you for moving too fast or too slow,

and to buy apple stock on the cheap.

Or maybe you're just vacationing in the past, whatever.

The real point is this.

Messages on Apple these days are mixed, decidedly indecisive.

Question.

If you saw the most and best tablets in the field of would-be tablet sellers

and suddenly the tablet market goes bust, who stands to suffer the most?

You because you do so well in them already?

Or everyone else trying to do well but failing even when times are good. You might argue that the people who can't do

well when things are great would take the hardest hit, but that would just prove that
