Generally speaking these days I start with a story about iPhone.

How's it doing? How do analysts think it's doing? What's being said in the supply chain?

But there's little point in bringing you much more than the headline from a market watch

story I saw yesterday, Apple iPhone 10 demand, more data, more questions.

Yes, nearly everyone sees weakness in the supply chain at this point, but no one is sure what that means exactly.

Even if iPhone sales drop, no one is sure what that means for Apple's bottom line, since the

prices of higher end devices have gone up this year.

That's for both iPhone 8 plus and iPhone 10, with its starting price of $1,000.

Instanet analyst Jeffrey Koval thinks negativity in the supply chain means dollars. Tony Sakanagi's belief that current quarter iPhone's sales will be weaker

than originally anticipated. New on the scene this week is Morgan Stanley analyst Katie

Huberty, with a positive spin on a negative move.

Quoting Market Watch, Morgan Stanley's Katie Huberty deemed supply chain indicators

largely noise, though she lowered her price targets $200 from $205 on Thursday and trimmed March

quarter estimates, she still thinks the first three months of 2018 will be strong.
