So Mark German at Bloomberg says we are just a couple weeks away from some new hardware from Apple.

He says sometime in the last, probably about the last week of October we'll see an announcement of Apple's next round of products.

And he says a launch date on Friday, November 1st.

This is the lineup of M4 Macs that we've been talking about quite a bit.

So there's the base model M4 Macbook Pro, the higher end 14 inch and 16 inch

Macbook Pro, the M4 I-Mac, the M4 Mac mini, and he says an iPad

mini seventh generation. The one thing that's missing from this list is the base model iPad.

That would be the iPad what the iPad 11 I think yeah I've had 11 I think yeah

which is kind of interesting because the last update to the base model iPad was

2022 but they dropped the price on it more recently did they oh they did yeah yeah

and they discontinued the home button version, right?

Correct, yeah, yeah, so last Christmas time,

that's right. They, it's still the iPad 10, but they dropped $100 off the price,

and then use that same moment to get rid of the 9th

Gen that was the $100 cheaper option before.

So the iPad 10 could carry on because they've actually like it was what 449, like, it was, what, 4-9 before, like, you know, go back when it first came out,

and that was like crazy expensive.

But now it's actually a competitive like 350 price point, so they could probably see that sell through for another generation. Of all of the

Apple products I feel like that one's the least pressing to get an Apple intelligence

infusion you know like I don't think I think I could happily sell that for a few more generations for a few more

Coupe, few more cycles without having it like conflict with their overall narrative of

Apple Intelligence and they probably don't want to update it until they can do so economically with the A18 chip,
