Violet McGraw, and Jenna Davis. In this film, an AI toy doll becomes self-aware and goes on

a killing spree.

Brian, I want to start out here by mentioning that you're on the record for our wrap-up

episode in 2022 as being pretty excited about this film, thinking that it would be a really good

film despite some of the lesser opinions based on the previews. Is that correct?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I essentially said it would be

the next smile, a preview that people that like hardened horror fans roll their eyes at, but then a

movie that we all ended up liking anyway. So we'll see in the review section whether that

came to fruition or not. And what, like, led you to believe that?

Was it just a random guess or was it the names behind it?

I think it was a bit of a random guess.

And I want to say somewhere I saw some early positive buzz about it, but I can't remember where.
