We've mentioned sort of the Gotham departures on this show multiple times.

And I keep saying the big picture stuff about people want playing time,

people need money.

I just also wonder if there isn't a sense here that the roster stacking for Gotham is

not, is purely just not sustainable.

We've got some actually big soccer stories to talk about.

We got one major retirement.

We got one major NWSL trade.

And then we got a little bit of a viewing guide for this weekend because we've got

some really nice women sports stories going on. We've got some nice on court, off court battles to

talk about as we wrap up the sports calendar year for 2024. So let's just go ahead and dig in.

So there were actually a couple pretty big breaking soccer news stories in the latter half of this

week. We're going to dig into some of

the large ones. Again, the ins, the outs. We've got some off the field business that's been

attending to in the end of USL. But I think we have to start with kind of this big monumental

piece of news and something that maybe feels very right in the moment, but also kind of sad

because you see a player walking away from the game and the fact that it is the end of the moment, but also kind of sad because you see a
