Got a special guest this week. An old old friend of mine, a guy that I've known for, oh gosh, nearly 20 years.

Mr. Lyle, Lovett, one of, certainly one of my favorite singer-songwriters.

I had a great, obviously great Texas singer-songwriter, but known the world

over. And a true gentleman, one of the sweetest guys I know, makes all the all of us other guys look bad.

Speaking of, you know, being a gentleman and looking bad or whatever. I certainly had an interesting

week. I've been with Anna for gosh nearly nine years. We two kids max who's about to be eight actually

gonna be eight this week happy birthday max and little Olivia who's six and

and so you know, we've just kind of been going along and, but I've been having

this idea, you know, the last, I don't know, six months or so that maybe maybe you know nine years is long enough and I should probably make

Miss Hanson an honest woman and so

Pop the question thank goodness she said. It was a funny little night. We were going to go out on the lake, just kind of cruise around before dinner.

This massive storm rolled in and totally not a good idea to be out on the lake

so we had to go home I had this whole thing planned out to be on the water and

the kids were going to be there and it got derailed because of this storm.

So we head back to the house and I'm like, oh my God, what am I going to do?

What is Plan B?

And I didn't have a Plan B, by the the way which was really stressing me out.

But then the skies just opened up and cleared up and I should say the clouds cleared and I thought you know what

let's run out to the boat see if we can go for a little cruise so I had again I had

it all put together the kid everybody got to pick a song and then finally I got to my

song which was this kind of this actually like the song but it's kind of a corny old
