Summary

This is a Grave Talks CLASSIC EPISODE!

Malvern Manor has become one of the most well-known haunted destinations in the United States. Initially opened as a hotel at the turn of the century, it was converted into a nursing facility and eventually a group home. As time passed, it would eventually fall into disrepair, with only the spirits of the past residing behind its walls. Today, the Malvern Manor is home to many souls, some with various personalities, some with a dark history of murder, innocent children who left the world too early, and many others. Today, we hear about what life is like at Malvern Manor with Josh Heard. This is Part Two of our conversation.

beacon or such a battery for all of this activity is it because of the people who had

0:22.1

been there and spend portions of their lives

0:24.7

or is there something more about the property itself that allows it to amplify all of these

spirits and emotions to come out for us to see an experience today?

It's like, why? it this place and why isn't it so much

activity in the house right next door or what have you? And I guess it's like, I always go back to the fact that with everything that this building was the people coming and going like the travelers right there's something very romantic about traveling and all of that and I don't know like if that has something to do with it as well.

1:09.0

I do know that kind of looking more recently with the group home the nursing home things of that

1:15.8

nature you know at the end of the day like whether you get along with the person that's across the hall or not, you're still waking up

1:26.2

around the same time, you're still eating your meals together, going to bed around

1:30.1

the same time, and generally interacting with one another throughout the day.

1:33.4

Well it becomes family at that point. There's camaraderie in that.

1:37.6

And so I kind of in what could only be considered a very chaotic life for the majority of these

1:46.2

residents that was the one constant that they had that was home you know for

1:51.8

them that was where they were comfortable.

1:55.0

And that's kind of what I go back to is maybe that that's it.

1:59.0

This is home.

2:01.0

And so every day I kind of I try to be as accommodating, you know, and loving as possible.

2:10.0

Like what they saw every morning when I'm there, I open the doors.
