Joining me on the podcast today, I am pleased to welcome Loominor founder and CEO Austin Russell.

I've wanted to have Austin on the podcast for a while now.

Back in January you may remember that Loominar had a really jarring demo at CES, which showcased how cars equipped with LIDAR perform in safety

critical scenarios compared to those that don't have LITAR. So I'm not going to give

this away but that demo is pretty disquieting.

More recently, Loominar has a ground-baking new partnership with Nissan

to put that kind of safety technology pretty much throughout Nissan's entire lineup by 2030.

It's a really important development for the auto industry.

So those two topics and more are the subject of my conversation with Austin.

Well, why don't we start with your latest news?

It was just a week or two ago that Nominar unveiled a significant and deep partnership with Nissan.

What is the scope of your work that you're doing with them?

So we're working together in collaborating on this next generation assisted driving system to have that's focused around next gen safety, you know, forward vehicles and specifically a Nissan vehicles.
