Okay, so I have to tell some backstory here. We talked a little bit before we started recording.

Your publicist reached out to me about having you on the show and she sent me pretty much just,

if I remember correctly, it was just the title of your book and which I'm going to read in just a

second, but she, I think there was like a little snippet of what the book was about. And with

very little content and no context, I was like, yes, book it. Because the title of your book is

Murder Bears, Moon Shine, and Mayhem, strange stories from the Bible to leave you amused,

bemused, and hopefully inform. Yes, it's amazing. And I've read the book. I got to actually

like read an advanced reader copy so I can tell you that it's the best because if you actually

read your Bible, it's so weird. Why is the Bible so weird? Why is there so much weird stuff?
