My guest on this show is one of the most accomplished character actors in America.

His first film role was in 1977 in the film version of Miguel Pinyero's short eyes.

He did an episode of Miami Vice in the mid-80s and from there on, he's been seen in literally

dozens of films, including Q&A, Carlitos Way, Boogie Knight's Magnolia Traffic,

just about every fourth movie that you see in a movie theater has Luis Guzmán in it.

Now he's one of the stars of the new HBO series, How to Make It in America,

in which he plays an older hustler type just out of prison, who's, among other things,

just bought the distributorship for a line of energy drinks.
