| 0:00.0 | Hi friends, it's Rosie, welcome to Radio Headspace and to Wednesday. |
| 0:21.2 | This week is all about self-compassion, and today we're exploring this topic in a realm |
| 0:27.0 | that's increasingly important, social media. If I'm honest with you all, I have a love-slash |
| 0:34.9 | not-love relationship with social media. I understand its value and have benefited substantially |
| 0:40.9 | from having a presence online, but I know that many people struggle finding balance with it. |
| 0:47.6 | So this is what we'll get into today. How do we cultivate a self-compassionate mindset amid the |

| 1:48.0 | She and I began our work on self-compassion. I encouraged her to view her insecurities and |
| 1:53.7 | anxieties as valid emotions, not as signs of weakness. She learned to anchor herself in the present |
| 2:00.4 | moment rather than getting lost in the spiral of comparison, and she began to change her relationship |
| 2:06.7 | with her audience. She shared her real experience, wholeheartedly, and began dismantling the façade |
| 2:14.3 | of perfection one post at a time. And all this continues to this day. |
| 2:22.0 | In today's hyper-connected world, it's so easy to fall into the trap of constantly |
| 2:26.8 | scrolling through social media feeds, seeking validation, and connection. I've certainly found |
| 2:33.1 | myself caught up in the cycle, checking my social media feeds multiple times a day, |
