Good evening, everybody. Welcome to the show. Got a great show plan for you. A couple topics I'm stoked to get into.

I'm going to open the show by first talking about an article. Pulled some resources together around it, but it bears repeating. I think it's an important one.

It's reasons to get divorced. It's the ones that I want us to consider track.

And then we're going to get into some other stuff.

So, yeah, let's start off hot, hitting the ground running.

So listen, one of the things I advocate for all the time, those that are, you know,

long time listeners of the show is we got to start by always examining ourselves first.

How are we impacting others and moving through the world?

That's what healthy people do.

And I said this on the show before.

I know a couple is really doing the work and getting healthier when they come into session saying,

let me tell you what I did this week that I'm proud of.

Let me tell you what I did this week that I'm not proud of versus them saying with a finger

pointed, my partner did this, my partner

didn't do that.

They're focused on themselves first, understanding that that's where the work begins.

Also understand that we can't change other people, nor should we try.

We can ask for behavior change, but we can't try to change who the person is.

But more importantly, again, we realize that we are an important part of that system and that we

can change that system by changing ourselves.

Our partners then on the receiving end of someone who's more loving, more caring, healthier,

that elevates everyone's functioning.
