I thought we'd open with something a little light. As always, as culture changes and evolves,

new words emerge and the dictionary. Dictionary is still traditionally

seen as the resource for that which really tells us what words are legitimized. We don't

necessarily have to subscribe to that, and that's what I kind of like, is that we kind of culturally

legitimize words, and as as a result the dictionary has to

include an update thereby making it more legitimate but we kind of did that work first and you know hey

words exist that the you know dictionary hasn't kept up with and that's okay the publishers of the dictionary

don't get to be the final word right we're kind of deconstructing concepts like that.

That's a little patriarchal, right? But I wanted to go through some of the words that are in there.

This is hilarious. So 300 new words were added to Dictionary.com, which is, you know, one of the many

different sources. Uh, Zaddy. Zaddy, a Z instead of D for Daddy, right?

It's the hot, hot version of Daddy.

It's supposed to be more of a compliment.

Law & Order's Chris Maloney is often described as Zaddy.

In fact, there's a picture of his butt tied to the story.

He's having a moment. For many. He's continually had lots of moments,

but he's kind of culturally creating this zaddy moment. Mind-boggling that there's a sentence
