got a great show plan for you as always. Yeah, in the show, we're going to be talking about

disappointments and failures around our anatomical functioning in those key intimate moments

when we're with other people. But I wanted to open the show.

Well, we're going to talk about a few things. But the first thing I want to just mention is the

pride flag. So fascinating. So Pride Month is here. And the intersexed community, an individual

from that community out of England has updated the pride flag

to include a symbol that honors intersex individuals. Well, let's break that down. Why? Well,

intersexed individuals are a community that are a minority, right? Not a huge part of the population,

not often visible.

We've had someone on the show to talk about it in the past, but it's something we need to raise

more awareness around. And it means a lot of different things, but the basic definition for

intersex is different situations, different scenarios in which a person is born with

sexual anatomy

externally or internal reproductive anatomy that doesn't fit male or female, right?

It might be one on the outside, the opposite on the inside.

It could be both.

It could be not necessarily differentiable, right?

And we're now realizing that there's a lot of different

ways that our bodies can express themselves. And historically, doctors would make the decision

for the child. And the intersex community is saying it is not medically necessary, right? It's just

about trying to create normality. And that's not needed. and that can create a lot of trauma and that
