Good evening, everybody. Welcome to the show. Got a really important show plan for you tonight.

It's music festival season. And I realize I haven't touched upon this in years. I think it was within

the first year I started doing the radio show. I did this topic, which is healthy partying at music

festivals. People at festivals are going to use drugs and alcohol. And my work is about harm reduction,

knowing that people are going to participate in those things. And my work is about harm reduction, knowing that

people are going to participate in those things. It's not about stopping them. Adults have

the right to engage in whatever makes sense for them. I'm all about body autonomy and legalization

of drugs so adults can accurately and honestly get their needs met. We know from the research,

90% of people that use drugs and alcohol don't have a problem. It's about only 10%.

So most of the people at these events are just having fun, trying to, you know, amplify their

experience.

And even animals use mind-altering substances, different plants and fruits and return to them.

And humans have been seeking transcendent experiences through religion and music and sex and also substances

since the beginning of time.

It's just part of the culture and it's getting more normalized.

And when we legalize drugs, that will mean that people won't get punished for an issue they might have.

They'll actually be able to get treatment.

More importantly, though, again, harm reduction.

I want people to stay alive.

That's my goal.

And so I want them to understand how to take care of themselves and how we can take care of those around us, knowing that what's going to happen is what's going to happen.

And music festival season is here.
