Going to be talking about something that I think we're going to be hearing more and more about.

And it's a little bit of an interesting topic, a little bit of a venture, a little beyond what we normally talk about, but very, very, very much mental health centered.

And that's about climate anxiety.

I am being brought into more and more discussions, seeing more and more articles and actually having

clients come into my practice talking about what we're calling climate anxiety. And that's the

anxiety that comes with looking around

and feeling like the world is on a crash course towards nowhere good, that the world is literally

on fire. And I had two clients come into my practice more than once. And that was what the focal point

of our work was, working directly on climate anxiety. It will soon be something

you will see more and more. At some point, you know, the diagnostic world loves creating a pathological

label for everything. They will come up with a, you know, a more clinical term for that. They will

create a diagnostic, you know, process for that. It will be a syndrome. And I'm not knocking it.

It's a real thing. I just don't like the pathologizing of normal

healthy responses. We should have anxiety about what's going on around us ecologically and

environmentally. We absolutely should. That is a healthy response to what's happening. That is not

pathological. It's like grief and loss. It should occur and it should go on as long as it has to go on

for and there's no right time that it should

you know heal itself um that's why we got to get away from having these weird arbitrary timeframes
