I'm going to be talking about how to deal with the most common problems that pop up in

relationships. Yeah, it's often the same stuff. It's a good thing and a bad thing. I remember a long

time ago, my own therapist, this was a long time ago. This person that I worked with back in New York City, amazing therapist.

And he said something that always stuck with me.

He said, you know, life, it's always something.

It's always going to be something different, something new.

And he said, that's normal.

You expect that.

He said, so I don't worry about people that come in every week and there's something new. He said, I worry about people where they come in every week and it's always the same thing.

And what he was basically saying was just this idea that a lot of us aren't aware of what our work is.

And so we just unconsciously keep moving through the world, creating the same problems,

often with the same people, even sometimes in the same relationship, which if it's

with the same people, clearly it's the same relationship. However, sometimes that we spread it out,

it's the same thing we enact with everyone. But it's important to really have a sense of ourselves.

And, you know, not everyone has access to therapy, but those that do, awesome, those that don't,

the work still exists, which is what I often try to present on the show is like, what can

we do so that we don't move through the world, always creating the same issues, but become

aware of what our work is so as to work through it, resolve it, overcome it, or sometimes

just track it to know when we're about to step into it to try to create

choice because remember, you know, there is a space, believe it or not, a lot of us the way we
