Good evening, everybody. How are you doing? Who, hope you are all rested, starting off the week

with energy and joy still in your head and your heart because you had an amazing weekend

or few days, depending on when you're listening to this of self-care and rest. I try to remind everyone, even when times are difficult,

it's okay to still try to build in a little bit of joy that is not dishonoring all that might be going on in your life.

It is not dishonoring any difficult moods or anything mentally you're struggling with.

It's okay to hold both. I'm always trying to teach everyone to

hold opposing thoughts, opposing moods, opposing ideals, especially when we're in relationships with people.

They're going to be both the person we love the most and at times also the person we hate the most.

I see too many people kicking friends, family members, and loved ones out of their lives the

minute they let them down or disappoint them because people will let us down and disappoint us

over and over and over as long as they're a good person take accountability and we learn and bond.

That's what matters.

Let me give you a little bit of a close personal transparent example.

So Dr. Chris, you know, he's in a relationship.

It's odd to talk about myself in the third person.

When people do that, it freaks me out.

So I'm going to go back to first person.

So I'm in a relationship.

It's such a defense mechanism to third person because it's othering.

It's externalizing.

It's not me, even though I'm talking about myself.

It's this person over there.
