As you approach these moments of prayer, believe that God loves you,

and know that He wants to meet you in these moments.

Psalms 27-4

Here's one thing I crave from God.

The one thing I seek above all else.

I want the privilege of living with him every moment in his house, finding the sweet loveliness

of his face filled with awe and delighting in his glory and grace. Right now with your eyes closed, race.

Right now with your eyes closed, ask God if you could personally for yourself experience

the sweet loveliness of the face of God.

With your eyes still closed, picture Jesus.

Picture him smiling at you. Picture peace radiating from his face.

Picture joy surrounding him like a light.

And now imagine that when you are with him, you are forgiven.

You are loved. You embrace his peace.

And you receive his joy.

Now let's have an honest conversation with God.

Tell God how much you want to be with him,

but that there's room to want him more,

that you want to desire him more throughout your day to day. God, would you come in and do something in our hearts?

Increase our desire for you.

Let us see your forgiveness and the loveliness of your face today,

so that we will want you more and more and more. And now as we turn our attention onto others, do you know one person who feels far away from God.
