And welcome to another week of your weight loss quest. How did this last week go for you,

champion? What new challenges did you encounter? But more importantly, what failure did you go through

and what lesson did you get from that failure? Come on now, don't let a perfectly good failure go by

without you getting your lesson from it, because that lesson is your reward for your troubles.

Now if you knew me, I've lost 125 pounds myself after an entire adulthood with chronic yo-yo dieting.

Up, down, up, down again.

Before I finally got sick and tired, I made some permanent, meaningful, and actual changes to my lifestyle, habits, routines, environment, community, and to my systems of belief, because it's all of those things to create the results in your life. And if you want to get an entirely new set of results in your life, you're going to have to go change all six of those things. And yes, indeed, it is going to take time. And yes, indeed, it's going to take time. Did I mention it's going to take time?

Here's the thing about time.

Time is one of the most valuable, precious resources that you have.

You see, no amount of money can buy back a single moment of time once it's been spent.

Once the now has become the past, you cannot ever make the past be the now again.

And you can never change what happened. And you, right now, you are living with the results of the choices you made in the past.

In your former nows.

That's what you're living with.

You are living with the results of those choices.

And remember, it will never be the you of the future that makes a change that alters your life.
