Hello Rivian, why didn't you call Kelly? A viral Rivian post is creating controversy over the influence of car seat installation on battery life and she's got thoughts as a car seat tech. Lizz is excited to share the next book club book announcement. Get your copy of Boys in the Boat, and read along! The demo '21 Ford Expedition Kelly's driving has GTS (got that stank package). She's been spoiled with that new car smell so of course she's reaching for a favorite base model luxury, her car Pura. In fast lane philosophies Kelly brings back a classic, "Love thy neighbor." Inspired by Barb, Tyler's mom, she's all about looking for ways to share acts of service and tuning in to love languages. Today's episode is brought to you by Zocdoc. Another listener has been saving for three years to buy a new-to-us Expedition Max for her family of six, and this February is finally their time to buy. But, a friend who's been along for the car shopping journey just bought the same vehicle, what should she do?! And last, a mom of four wonders if she should stick it out with her Traverse or upgrade to an Expedition. Kelly shares her safety tips on having a third row and a loose stroller in the cab. → Write in your advice questions! Send Kelly and Lizz an email to get your question featured on the show at [email protected] In industry news, Volkswagen is coming out with a new line of EVs under the brand name Scout Motors. Rivian is teasing the new R2 that could have a starting price as low as $40K. The IHS launches full-size SUV crash testing as well as booster seat ratings. Ditch the drive-through with bang-bang chicken skewers. Put two chicken breasts chopped into bite-sized pieces in a bowl, and toss with a half teaspoon of garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt pepper, and a little olive oil. Put them on about five skewers and cook in your air fryer at 400 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. For the sauce, mix mayo, sweet chili sauce, and a small amount of sriracha. Brush it over the cooked chicken. → To share your ditch the drive-through recipe with us, call (959) CAR-POOL and leave us a message!
