Hi everybody, before we start today's episode, we want to let you know about a Harry Potter-themed pilgrimage

that we are going to be doing in the north of England and Matt. Can I tell you the most exciting thing about this pilgrimage in my opinion?

That it's a Harry Potter pilgrimage in the north of England? I can't imagine what more exciting thing there could be than the things you've already said.

Well, there's going to be a hike where we hike all day, and at the end of the hike, we will take a steam engine train back to our hotel.

Oh my gosh, you're taking the Hogwarts Express? Yes, we are going to be boarding it in a place that looks a lot like Scotland, near Hogwarts.

It's going to look more, I think, like Hogsmeade station than it is going to look like Platform 93-quarters.

Okay.

But it is going to be great fun. We are going to be talking about Deathly Hallows, carrying the book around in our backpacks, as we go on these amazing hikes and talk about what it means to be a person who wanders around the world.

Some students were hurried away from Hogwarts by their parents over the next couple of days. The Patil twins were gone before breakfast and the morning following Dumbledore's death. And Zacharias Smith.

And so we hope that you are all safe, that your family members are safe, and that you are finding ways to take care of yourself right now.

Because the coronavirus is certainly one of the scariest things that I have seen in my lifetime.

And I'm older than a lot of you. So that's saying something.

So to help bring us all together and to help us refocus on the text that has given so much, we are doing a very special thing.

Which is an eight week class. Every Tuesday evening will be gathering to do a deep dive into one of the books.

And to do what we started this whole podcast with, which was an in-person class.
