My name is John Glover.

I serve here on the worship team in various spaces.

And I also serve on student leadership team on student nights. There was a time in my life when I was

striving and I was seeking the approval of others. But because of Jesus and His grace, I now experience

rest from my striving and I find peace that cannot be shaken. Amen. Today's scripture is 1 John chapter 4 verses 1 through 4. Dear friends, do not believe every

spirit, but test the spirits to see if they are from God because many false prophets have gone out

into the world. This is how you know the spirit of God. Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ

has come in the flesh is from God, but every spirit that does not confess Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God,

but every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God.

This is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard is coming.

Even now it has already in the world.

You are from God little children, and you have conquered them because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.

This is the word of the Lord.
