Summary

Love is risky. When we love someone, we become vulnerable. Those we love the most have the power to wound us the deepest. In those times of hurt and pain, how we respond is critical. Will we nurse resentment, bitterness, and unforgiveness? Will we disconnect from the person who hurt us? Or will we invite God into the middle of the mess and the pain? Through God’s great grace, we can be reconciled to those who hurt us. We can make a choice to love like we’ve never been hurt.

0:56.0	reconciled us to himself through Jesus Christ and has given to us the ministry of reconciliation.

1:48.0	reconciled us back to God on the cross. He goes on to say in verse 21, for he made him
1:57.0	who knew no sin to be sin for us that we might become the righteousness of God in him.
2:04.0	Isn't that beautiful? And then he turns around in that same verse that are read previously
2:10.0	and he says, just as Christ is reconciled to you, you are called to be.
2:16.0	Whether you are pharmacists or an insurance salesman or a car mechanic, a college student,
2:23.0	you are called to be in the ministry of reconciliation.
2:30.0	You are. This isn't just the preacher somewhere. You are called, the Bible said, if you have accepted
2:37.0	what Christ did on the cross, you are called into a ministry of reconciliation.
