I'd like to talk to you today about the transformative power, about seeing anything, anything, big, small, human, animal, material, anything, through a loving lens.

Because this is what I've learned, my friends. Love makes anything beautiful.

Right?

Sometimes we think it's the other way around.

We think that when something's beautiful, we love it, right?

When a person is beautiful or a place or a meal, whatever it is, a piece of furniture

of you.

When something is beautiful, we love it.

And look, that's true in some cases. But,

think about it for a second. Often we think things are beautiful first. Yes. And that's naturally why we think, oh my gosh, I love this or I like this so much or this is so lovely. But love, just this lens, looking through a loving lens, has the power to transform anything.

The more we care about something, the more beauty we see.

I think about this when it comes to the people that you love. You know,

it's not because they're super hot or super talented or super rich or super got a golf or fill in

the blank here. It's because you know them, the familiarity, the intimacy, their quirks,

the unique nature of who they are, your time spent

together, your history, your memories. That's what makes a person beautiful, right? I find too that

as I go through life, working, living, the more I just pull my love into something,

whether it's writing a book, doing this podcast for you, recording these episodes daily,

whatever it is I put my attention on. I pour my love and focus into, it transforms. It becomes beautiful. Maybe you can even look around now

and see that there's a favorite place in your home. Maybe there's like a little cozy corner that

you and your cat seem to favor in your house or even these kind of simple everyday moments and exchanges that we have.
