Summary

Today's Quote: "God... may I trust that change will come with consistency, however slow the pace may seem..." - @Doyal. Gauranga

Bonus Quote:
“The best service you can do is to keep your thoughts on God. Keep God in mind every minute.” - Neem Karoli Baba

Today's Practice: Before you eat or drink anything, return to Love. Feel the felt-Presence where you are, or say your mantra.  Use food and drink to turn you around to your Self, repeatedly during the day. When you're three or four bites in, or the entire meal is finished and you've only then remembered, smile, and be thankful for Grace. Grace woke you up, and if you keep intending and practicing, it'll keep waking you up, and sooner and sooner each time.  Make it a game!  I love you! (and know that I still forget sometimes, too!)

God morning.

0:29.4

Today's quote comes from a friend that I met on Instagram.

0:34.4

His name is Doyle Garanga and he has a podcast called Soul Deep and just an amazing IG account full of

0:45.4

Well, a lot of inspiration, but my favorite posts are the ones where he shares an inspired prayer from the Bhagavai Gita.

0:53.4

And I think I first came across him when Willow Smith shared one of these prayers.

1:01.4

So I am sharing one with you this morning.

1:06.4

And if you want to follow him, it's at Doyle D-O-Y-A-L dot G-A-U-R-A-N-G-A.

1:18.4

And he says, God, may I trust that change will come with consistency.

1:26.4

However slow the pace may seem.

1:33.4

I remember maybe in 2017, 2018, it felt like I had been practicing exactly what I'm sharing with you right now

1:46.4

on a very consistent basis.

1:49.4

You know, I was reading about it for sure constantly from morning to night.

1:56.4

And it felt as if I was putting what I was reading into practice, but I wasn't seeing many changes, inner or outer.

2:05.4

And I was really, really, really wanting outer change.

2:09.4

And I remember kind of taking a step back and having a true assessment of the whole situation.

2:16.4

And I'm like, how often am I in presence, like in love?

2:21.4

And around that time, I heard a talk from Eckhart Tolle and some member of the audience, whoever he was speaking to, they asked him, like, how often are you living in the now?

2:36.4

You know, we're living as the now.

2:39.4

And he actually answered with a number, like it wasn't some vague thing, and a lot of spiritual teachers do, but he was like, I'd say 80% of the day, I am aware of presence.

2:52.4

I'm like, well, goodness, if he's, if it's just 80% for him, and, you know, he's been at this for a very long time.

3:00.4

What's the hope for me? And am I being honest with myself, you know? And so I started saying that okay, every time I go to eat something or take a drink, anytime I put anything in my mouth, I'm going to become aware of the presence, because remember I make everything into a game to make it fun.
