Ephesians chapter 3, verses 14 through 21.

So this is the other prayer that Paul prays over these Ephesian Christians.

And so I want to do the same thing with it that we did with Ephesians chapter 1,

verses 15 through 23, and just pray the spirit prompted prayer over you.

And then hopefully lead you to pray this same spirit-inspired prayer over people around you.

And at the same time, I want to give you an image from an earlier letter

from Paul as we pray this over each other and over others. In Romans chapter 15, verse 30, Paul

says to the Christians at Rome, I appeal to you, brothers, by our Lord Jesus Christ,

by the love of the spirit, to strive together with me in your prayers to God

on my behalf. What language? Strive together in prayer to God on others' behalf. And so as we pray

this prayer from Ephesians chapter 3, verse 14 through 21, over each other and over others in our lives.

Let's see ourselves striving in prayer to God on our behalf and on others' behalf, straight from

this spirit-inspired prayer. So, all right, here we go. Ephesians chapter 3, verse 14.

For this reason, I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is

named, that according to the riches of his glory,

oh God, I pray this over every single person listening right now who knows you,

who's in your family, that according to the riches of your glory,

you may grant them to be strengthened with power through your spirit in their

inner being so that Christ may dwell in their hearts through faith. And I pray that they being rooted and grounded in love

would have strength to comprehend with all the saints
