Louise Sandhouse is a designer, an educator, and an author.

As a designer, she has worked on everything from exhibitions

to branding and web design, and she's the principal of her own firm.

As an educator she's been teaching design since 1990 and is the former director of the Graphic Design Program at the California Institute of

the Arts.

As an author, she recently published, earthquakes, mudslides, fires, and riots, California, and graphic design, 1936 to 1986.
