Hello, everyone. Welcome to another episode of Dolphins Talk. My name is Marissa Marino. And joining me today is ESPN's NFL and college football analyst and broadcaster, the one and only talented and lovely Mr. Lewis Riddick. Mr. Riddick, how are you?

I'm doing great. So how are you? I am good. You are officially one of Dolphins Talk. This is your third time on the show, and we are so grateful to have you. So thanks for finding the time for us. Yeah, sure. I'm sure. No problem. Well, I know the Dolphin fans, you were all over covering the draft, and we cannot wait to get into all of the things that have happened.

So since you and I last spoke, Miami hired a new head coach, a new general manager.

So many things have happened with this team.

What are your thoughts on John Eric Sullivan and Jeff Halfley that have come to the Dolphins?

Well, the thing that I always like is when people are tied together, both contractually

and from a relationship perspective, and these guys obviously have a relationship being together

in Green Bay.

They see, they've already seen in this kind of environment and the kind of team building

environment that they're in now, what the other person is like, so to speak, not necessarily in the roles that they're in right now,

but they've kind of seen how each other really operates throughout maybe a calendar year and how things kind of go

as far as, you know, what does John Eric do as far as scouting? How does he see football players?

How does Jeff organize his day? How does he see football players? How does Jeff organize his

day? How does he coach his players, correct his players, develop his players? How do they look at

scouting, whether it be the senior bowl, the combine, the draft? They know all that kind of stuff

about one another. They probably conceptually talked about it. And so when you bring in guys like

that, I think that's cool. I think that there's three people, obviously, that need to be aligned in an

organization if you exclude the owner. And that really has to be the general manager of head

coach and the quarterback. And now down in Miami, you basically have that. You basically have

three guys who come from the same place who are all now

fully vested in seeing each other do well because as long as that that kind of like tripod does

good you probably have a chance for everything else to kind of fall in place so i love that
