So with the Pats playing the Falcons tonight, we give you Louis Riddick, a man who, like New

England, wound up giving us a whole lot more than we bargained for.

So, Louis Riddick, for people who are not familiar,

what is your relationship with Bill Belichick?

How would you describe that?

Well, let's just go back to the very beginning. I mean, obviously he's someone who,

when I played for him for the three years in Cleveland, that he was always very direct upfront with me as far as assessing my strengths and weaknesses as a player at that point

in time and what he valued in me and what he thought I needed to work on.

Lewis Riddick was an NFL scout and director of pro personnel after playing safety in the league.

He now does Monday Night Football for ESPN.

So it's always been a very respectful relationship.

And, you know, we did twice on Monday Night Football last year.

And twice he went out of his way to say how much he respected what I did as a player for him.
