What occurs when Jude is warning the readers against a group of airing Christians who have

given themselves over to various sorts of immorality.

After using several metaphors, illustrating their spiritual state and the

judgment that will come upon them, Jude says something very strange. It was of these

also that Enoch in the seventh generation from Adam prophesied.
