Don Betanelli and joining me today is Jimmy Aiken. Hey Jimmy.

How do, Dom? The book of Jude is one of the shortest books of the New Testament. It also contains some of the most mysterious and intriguing passages.

One occurs when Jude is warning the readers against a group of airing Christians who have given

themselves over to various sorts of immorality.

After using several metaphors illustrating their spiritual state and the judgment that will come upon them, Jude says something very strange.

It was of these also that Enoch in the seventh generation from Adam prophesied. This refers to a book that is not in our Bibles. So what's

Jude talking about? When did this prophecy originate and what should we make of the book that

contains it?

That's what we'll be talking about on this episode of Jimmy Yakin's mysterious world.

Jimmy, today we're continuing our occasional look at what we've been calling lost scriptures.

Why did you want to do this episode today?

Well, I originally plan to do it later since we just did an episode on the Book of Jubilee's a few weeks ago.

But I unfortunately don't have a lot of scripts in the tank at the moment and this is one I had.

So we ended up doing another lost scriptures episode sooner than I anticipated.

Even though we're calling them that, it doesn't mean that they have the same authority or accuracy as the books of the Bible, does it?

Oh, by no means.

They are only scripture in the sense

that some people once thought they are scripture.

...
