In late October last year, two men turn up on Jess's doorstep.

Jess isn't at home, but the smartly dress middle-aged men are spotted by some builders, And they tell Jess they looked just like coppers.

But when Jess calls the local force, they don't know anything about the visit.

So if they aren't police, who are they?

Jess spends an anxious week thinking about this.

She becomes slightly paranoid and tries to avoid being at home on her own.

The men return a week later

and they seem friendly
