On a bright Monday morning, I'm in New York City, my friend Garrett. Where are you, Garrett? Are you still at the Jersey Shore? Hello, darling. No, no. I've migrated up north in Jersey. So central Jersey, you know, the thriving in life, right? I love this tour you're on. You're like share visiting all the stops in Jersey. How is the Jersey Shore? I'll never retire. How is the shore with your kids?

Did Hudson love it? Oh, it was great. You know, played in the sand, ate some sand, poop some sand. We did it all with sand, sand, sand, sand. You're the best dad ever. Do you know what time it is, Garrett? It is. Oh, I believe it's tea time. Look at that. Yes. So this is quite a big story that we're going to be hearing about now. For the next couple of weeks, Laurie Loughlin has apologised after getting sentenced to two months in prison.

0:59.4

So shortly after she was sentenced, she got a chance to speak to the court,

1:03.6

and she said that she regrets her awful, awful decision.

1:07.7

She said she went along with the plan to give her daughters an unfair advantage in the

1:12.8

college admission process. She thought she was doing a good thing here. She was swayed from her

1:19.2

moral compass, I would say, and she thought she was actually acting out of love for her children.

1:24.6

But in reality, she undermined them and diminished their abilities.

1:29.1

Now, she's got to surrender and her husband to the US Bureau of Prisons before 2pm on November

1:37.5

19th. We don't know if she's in prison yet. What would you do, God forbid, you're in this awful

1:42.7

situation? Would you get it over with right away, or would you wait till the very last minute? What would you do, Garrett forbid, you were in this awful situation? Would you get it over with right away?

1:45.0

Or would you wait till the very last minute? What would you do, Garrett? You know, I've been thinking about a rap shooter. I think that you just, you pull it like a band-aid. The quicker you do it, quicker it's over. I mean, the world we're living in right now, we know she's not doing two months. you know she she's she's going to do you know

2:01.6

maybe a couple weeks at best so yeah do it as quickly as possible get over with with it so

2:06.8

you can get back to making you know Christmas movies on the Hallmark channel what about you

2:10.8

do you I think I'd get it over with immediately I think yeah because I'd be dreading

2:15.1

I'm one of those people where this is a little different but maybe the same when. When I get up in the morning, the first thing on my to do list that I don't want to do, normally call a member back of my family, but whoever it is on my to do list, I do it first. The same at work. When I get to my office, when we used to go to offices, but when I have a list of things to do, the one thing I don't want to do, I force myself to do it first. Do you do that or do you put it off all day long?

2:42.2

No, you got to get done because, you know, if you don't get it done, it's never going to get done.

2:46.7

And then by the end of the day, you're like, ah, I know.

2:48.8

Well, I regret it all day long.

2:50.3

So, like, if I had no, I have to do something, I might as well do it because I'm going to think about it all day. So I'm going to think about it for four, five, six hours. Like, showering. Like, I would have to be the first in the shower in jail. Just to do it. Like, the first one. Just did it when, wake up, wake up before everyone else. Let me wake up before everyone else. I might not even sleep. You know,

3:08.7

when I know I'm going to shower, I'm like, all right, I'm not going to sleep. Get that done. Got to get in there before everyone wakes up and then get out of there. When we were little, my mom and dad said, Christine, my sister and I could learn instruments, but we had to practice. The deal was because everybody wants to learn the violin, the trumpet, all these instruments, it sounds like a great idea.
