Welcome to the bedtime story, Lord of the Harvest.

Tonight, we hear beautiful scriptures that remind us,

God is the Lord of the Harvest.

Harvest is the season when crops are gathered

and storehouses are filled to the brim.

The farmer rises early and goes into the field at the break of day.

He sees the sun on the horizon as vibrant colors of yellow, orange, red, and purple, light the morning sky.

As creation awakens with the dawn, birds begin to sing their morning song.

First, one chirp, then another, until their sweet melodies fill the air.

The farmer's hands reach deep into the rich soil.

It's been watered by the evening rains and is ripe for harvest.

He gathers the fruit of his labor.

He pauses to gaze over the golden fields of grain, swaying gently in the autumn breeze, and he is thankful. He hums a melody as he works, as he harvests the heads of grain.

Row by row, he follows the rhythm of the day,

gathering, bundling, and reaping what he has sown.

The farmer knows his master, his creator, has blessed him once again,

and he sings a song of praise to the Lord of Harvest.

Praise God from whom all blessings flow.

Praise him all creatures here below.

The autumn air is crisp and clean.

The farmer feels the warmth of the morning sun on his face.

His eyes see the field as a patchwork of golden grain swaying on the horizon, and there is peace.
