I am delighted and honored to present a conversation with J.D.

Wisler.

J.D. has been having a decades long love affair with clouds.

He is fascinated with the nuances, the fleeting moments,

and the way that the light bounces off of them.

It's an obsession, really, but one that I can know. And the way that the light bounces off of them.

J.D. says that whether people get his paintings or not

is really not that important to him. Having them relate to the

paintings is what matters. Everything else he says is icing on the cake. Now I'm going to tell you

about one of my quirks and I promise that it comes back to

JD's paintings. I get really anxious watching television and sometimes movies.

I can't help but think that this moment right now has never happened before and will never happen again.

I don't want to waste it. Each moment is unique and I become very conscious of time and how precious it is.

So JD's paintings feel like another version of that. He will never see another sky like the one that he's probably looking at right now.

The light, the place, his mood, what he's thinking about, has never combined in exactly the same way before and it will never happen

again.

His paintings demonstrate that.
