The Christmas hymn, O Jesus Christ, thy manger is. We think of Christmas as, well, an increasingly

generic holiday. Even in the church, the service of the Christ Mass has, well, gotten rid of the

mass, still keeps the birth of Jesus, but the connection to the Lord's Supper has been lost. Why is that and how is it restored

through the kind of proppers that we find being taught and read on our celebration of Christmas?
