Thanks for listening, and one degree or another, make certain historical claims, but none of them make the kind of claim,

a singular claim that Christianity does. And that claim, of course, is the bodily resurrection of

Jesus. St. Paul tells us that if Christ is not raised, we are of all men most to be pitied,

because we have believed a lie and if he's not

raised then there's nothing in the Christian faith worth believing because it all rests upon

that one historical event and that one truth claim so we hear people say that

Christianity can be disproven. How do we answer?

We say, well, of course it can.

That's what Paul says.
